In this episode, the Epic Outdoors Crew talks about the Arizona Bison Application deadline, followed by a Vortex sponsored question about binocular magnification and a user-submitted question about the best Western state in which to have residency. The crew then calls Wyatt who's returning from a Wyoming antelope hunt and they talk about Wyatt and Devin's antelope hunts. Josh and Devin then talk about their latest invention for saving your place in a hunting blind and the team calls Jeff John to see if he's ready to invest. Lots of laughs go around during this funny segment. Jeff John also gives a Northern Utah Mule deer update and gives his opinion on the state of Mule deer in 2022. Josh rounds things out by presenting another invention idea designed to allow hunters the ability to glass for extremely long periods of time without interruption. Josh also talks about helping Adam on a recent Mule deer hunt where his invention would have come in handy.

Adam Bronson returns from his two Alaska hunting trips and talks about his DIY Caribou hunt and his grueling sheep hunt. The rest of the Epic Outdoors Crew gives updates on their field adventures including elk and Mule deer hunts. They also give an update on how hunters are doing for Mule deer and elk in Utah, Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico. They also talk about potential changes to Utah limited entry elk hunts. Josh gives an update on Devin's Arizona elk hunt and a creature that stares into their soul. The crew also announces another binocular giveaway.

Jason and John on a late-night edition of the Epic Outdoors Podcast. They cover a 2022 Mule deer and elk update from around the West as well as updates on how 2023 is looking. They call Epic Outdoors member, Bill Heinselman, who tells the story of the hunt for "Big Foot," a giant 270-class Mule deer Bill harvested in Arizona. Bill shares lessons learned as well as tips for hunting giant Mule deer. Jason and Bill also discuss hunting Tule elk and Bill's recent #3 all-time B&C bull. They discuss areas in California that could produce big Mule deer, elk and Bighorn sheep. Bill tells about neighborhood Mountain lions and mysterious cases of missing pets. Jason and John check in with Epic Crew members Devin and Josh who are elk hunting and get the latest update from Wyatt who just finished a successful Mule deer hunt. Wyatt gives a rundown of his feel for the current Mule deer and elk hunts in Utah this fall.

In this episode, the Epic Outdoors Crew gets a visit from Colby Kroff from Swarovski. Colby announces the brand new compact spotting scope from Swarovski. The new ATC/STC blazes new ground for Swaro and delivers a tiny spotting scope with Swarovision optics. The new scope weighs only 2 pounds and is only about 11 inches long. The scope features a 56mm objective and a 17-40x zoom. Mixed in with the regular Epic Crew jokers, Colby goes in-depth into what makes this new product stand out and what situations for which the spotter is perfect.

The Epic Crew checks in with Jason in the field and gets an update on his archery Mule deer hunt. Jason stocks up on some good karma by rescuing some foreign tourists. Jason's story leads into other good karma stories, which then turn into confessions of dumb stuff the Epic Crew has done. Several stories come out that might spare listeners painful experiences. Adam tells about accidentally drag racing his diesel in the car wash and warns about potential car wash dangers. Jason makes a confession about forgetting a hitch pin on his trailer. The Crew then talks about glassing soundtracks and tells stories about being attacked by animals and odd encounters. Adam then talks about getting ready for his Alaska hunts and the importance of making lists. Then Devin Archibald gives an update from the past week. He tells about guiding some newby hunters and cool experiences. Devin then gives an update on his archery Mule deer hunt and talks about lessons each failed stalk can teach hunters. Josh then gives an update on his field activities. The Crew talks about sending their wives in to purchase powder. Adam talks about his new Red Rock Precision Rifle and getting set up for his Alaska hunt.

Devin returns from a successful Utah archery Mule deer hunt and tells about at hunt where the stars aligned. Later in the show, Wyatt checks in from the field and gives an update on his hunting conditions.

Possible Elimination of Nonresident Sheep Hunting in New Mexico.  With only 4 members of the typical 7 member comission, and hard pushes from the New Mexico Wildlife Federation, and other special interest groups, New Mexico is moving closer and closer to Closing Sheep hunts to nonresidents. We feel it is very important to reach out to the game commission and let them know how you feel about this.
